STATING YOUR RACE INTENTIONS
Not many sporting events are as complicated to run as a ski race. One way that we make races run more efficiently is to require all racers to STATE YOUR RACE INTENTIONS. It is important to state your intentions by the race entry deadline so that the race organizers can create and print the race run orders. Once the deadline passes, it is too late to enter the race. Creating a run order is just one of many tasks needing to be completed days in advance of a race. Please respect those who volunteer to run our races by stating your race intentions well in advance of the deadline. If you know you cannot make it to a race, please DECLINE the invitation to race. If you know that you can race (and that you can miss school or get out of school early or that you don't have another obligation), please ACCEPT the invitation to race. If you are a JV level racer, feel free to State Your Intentions to all the races listed, even if it says varsity only. Many JV level racers may just get a chance to ski in some varsity races this year depending on the availability of Varsity racers.
State Your 2022-23 Race Intentions
Please wait to state your intention until you are prompted to do so in a MAST Update.
