Welcome To The 2023-24 Alpine Ski Season With The Mpls Alpine Ski Team (MAST)!The 2023-24 alpine ski season approaches and the coaches and parent volunteers of MAST are working hard to make this 24th season of MAST the most successful one yet. Alpine ski racing with MAST is open to all Mpls Public School students in grades seven through twelve. MAST is a 501c3 that serves as the booster club and administrative hub for the MPS alpine ski racing teams that compete in Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) sanctioned alpine ski meets. Fundraising efforts and organizational meetings begin on Labor Day and continue through the months of September, October and early November. For those who are new to alpine ski racing, the coaches and experienced parents of MAST will be holding an Orientation to High School Ski Racing and MAST on Monday, October 2nd at 7PM at Fuller Park. This meeting will provide interested MPS students and their parents with all the information you need to decide whether the sport of ski racing might just be the sport for you. If you are new to ski racing, there is a lot to learn and the Fall months are when we have the time to educate our athletes and families about the sport of alpine ski racing, how our team operates, and how to size and purchase the equipment you need to become a successful ski racer. If you would like to get on our mailing list, please complete and submit the NEW ATHLETE INQUIRY FORM below. Prospective athletes and parents will then start receiving our weekly MAST Updates that will keep you informed about all things MAST and Ski Racing. We welcome your inquiries.

Want To Learn More About MAST?MAST Is Grateful! After numerous delays to the start of the 2020-21 alpine season, we were finally able to begin practicing on Monday, January 11. We had eleven weeks to train and compete. After ten months of social distancing, online classes, and canceled social opportunities, everyone was eager to ski... outside, in fresh air, with friends. At the conclusion of the season, we asked our athletes, coaches and parents to tell us what made them grateful. See their responses in the slideshow below.
