Wow! What a great crew! 68 folks cleaning after the goats to raise money for MAST. Thank you to all athletes, siblings, cousins, parents, friends and strangers who pitched in on this most fragrant of fundraisers. Sounds like you set a new State Fair Goat Barn Cleaning record. Fall Flower Bulb Sale ON-LINE Fundraiser 2012
FlowerPowerFundraising is an excellent fundraiser for several reasons. First, you get to sell flower bulbs that people can plant wherever they like. These bulbs are perennials, which means that once they are planted they will continue to bloom year after year. You are selling something that adds beauty. Second, the sale is conducted on-line. All you need to do is activate an account for yourself. Once your account is activated with a user name and password, you will be a MAST FlowerPower Fundraiser Team Member. As a Team Member, you can reach out to family and friends, informing them about the fundraiser and asking for their participation and support. You will receive 50% back from any sales you make through your contacts. Best of all, once the sale is made, the flower bulbs are emailed directly to the purchaser.
Here are the steps you need to take to get started:
First, activate your MAST FlowerPowerFundraising Account. If you received an email from FlowerPower inviting you to become a team member, all you need to do is click on the link provided and enter a username and password. If you did not receive an invitation to become a team member, contact Mark Conway at 612-275-8392 or [email protected].
Second, once you are a team member you have the option of entering the names and email addresses of family members, friends, and neighbors to whom you would like to send an invitation to purchase flower bulbs and support you in this fundraising effort. You can either write up a personal note inviting people to support your efforts or you can let FlowerPower send a pre-written note to your invitees.
Third, you can copy and paste a LINK to your personal FlowerPowerFundraising page onto your facebook account. You also have the option of sending out an invitation to people in your email address book by copying and pasting this link to any emails or twitter messages you want to send.
If you know you will not be participating in this fundraiser and would like your name removed as a potential team member, please send me an email at [email protected].
