MAST Update #7 Friday, October 20, 2023 Good Afternoon MAST Families: The MAST INDIVIDUAL Fundraiser is now open for business. You can find instructions and sales flyers and order forms attached. They are also posted on our website: https://www.mplsalpineski.org/2023-athlete-individual-fundraiser.html Once again, we are selling Minnesota grown and prepared Salsa AND Urban Ventures coffee, hot chocolate, chocolate covered beans, and chocolate covered caramels. Download and print the order forms and product offering flyer and start selling today. New this year: collect the money when you take the order and have the customer pay YOU OR YOUR PARENTS directly. When you are finished taking orders, add up the amount you collected for Salsa and the amount you collect for Urban Venture Coffee, etc. Write two checks payable to Mpls Alpine: one for the total of sales collected for MinneSalsa and the other for the total of sales collected for Coffee, Cocoa, Beans and Caramel orders. Submit your order forms and the two checks on Monday, November 13th at the Hyland Season Pass Pick Up Event. If you are "on the fence" about returning, I am most willing to talk with you about any concerns you have about skiing with us for another year. Feel free to reach out by email or phone. Here is a link to the MPS Athletics website. https://athletics.mpls.k12.mn.us/ The links and forms you need to register are in the upper right hand corner of the page under the header titled "Register Here". One link to register for alpine skiing. A second link to pay the $75 Activity Fee. Know that the Activity Fee is used to help cover MAST coaching salaries, along with the team fee and all of our team fundraising efforts. If you have questions about the registration process with MPS, please reach out to you HIGH SCHOOL athletic director, even if you are in middle school. Attached is a roster of high school and middle school athletic directors. DO NOT reach out to the middle school athletic directors about alpine skiing. They are not involved at all. Also attached is a copy of the 2023-24 Physical Examination Clearance Form that you will need to submit to your AD if you are registering for the first time for a high school varsity sport with Mpls Public School Athletics.
