Scott Griggs Funeral Announcement; State Fair Tickets--Please Pick UP!

Good Afternoon:

Two quick announcements.
1.   The funeral for Scott Griggs will be held at 3PM on Thursday, September 9 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on 41st and Lyndale Ave S.   Here is a link to Scott's obituary.

2.   Matt McConville informs me that many of you who are volunteering for our State Fair fundraiser still need to pick up your tickets to the fair.   Please don't forget.   By the way, thank you for volunteering.  If for some reason you cannot help on Monday, please reach out to one of the families on the substitute list.   We have families willing to work the Fair but who didn't make the 100 ticket cut.   Check out who is signed up here:

When: Sunday, 8/29/21 to Sunday, 9/5/21 8am - 9pm
Monday (Labor Day) 9/6/21 8am - Noon

• Tickets are inside of the GREEN Bin near the deck door.
• Record your name and the number of tickets you are taking on the Sign Out Form.
• ONLY take tickets for the people in your family/group willing to work from START to FINISH in the Goat Barn (approximately 5:30-9PM) Sept. 6th (Labor Day).
• Return the clipboard and remaining tickets to the box and be sure to close the bin.
• Wear a mask, bring water, wear closed toe shoes. We advise you to wear socks. You might want a cap.
• MAST will provide some work gloves, but feel free to bring your own.
• Meet at 5:30PM Labor Day, Sept 6th at the Sheep/Goat Barn on Judson Street. Entrance is in the center of the building on the SOUTH side.

COVID SAFE PROTOCOLS
We are recommending the following for volunteers:
1. Only vaccinated volunteers participate in the Goat Barn fundraiser.
2. All volunteers wear masks the entire time.
