Race Results

Good Evening Race Fans.

Results are attached. How fun to see how much the team has improved over the last four weeks. Congratulations to Gabby Harritt and Kate Moore who finished first and second tonight. Very close race.  Gabby whipped Kate by a whopping eight one hundredths of a second. Nahlah Mkaouri and Reese Kuehn skied extremely well to finish in fourth and fifth respectively. The Washburn girls went undefeated tonight. Great work girls.  

Andreas was our top finisher on the boys' side. He finished second with Charlie Smith only .01 seconds behind, even closer than Kate was to Gabby. Impressive. Erik Arnold finished fourth and Finn Cherveny skied his best race ever, finishing in fifth. Southwest bested Washburn in the team competition, avenging their pounding at the Wild Invite by their brothers on skis.   

Thank you to all the coaches and parents who worked today's race and to all the parents who came out and cheered. Congratulations to all of our athletes. You have worked very hard in a short amount of time and it was a pleasure to watch you ski tonight. I appreciate your effort.  We have just over seven weeks remaining in the season. You can accomplish so much more. Maintain your focus and discipline. See you on the hill tomorrow.
