MAST Update Week Eleven-Part 2: Sunday, January 23, 2022

Good Afternoon:

Monday’s Race at Hyland
Attached is a run order for tomorrow’s race, plus a race plan. Some of you did not state your race intentions for Monday. I may or may not have added you to the end of the run order in case you still want to race. I encourage you to do so. For those who did state their race intention, I sent your name to each high school athletic director asking for an early release of 2:45pm tomorrow.  I suggest that you bring a note from home requesting the early release as well, just in case....

Afton Invite Logistics
Also attached is a spreadsheet to help me track organizational details for the Afton Invitational.

1. Everyone: Check to see if your name is listed. Everyone who stated YES to their availability is entered. If you are no longer available, let me know immediately.
2. We still have two positions available for girls and one for a boy. If you are not listed on the run order and would like to race, please send me an email: [email protected].
   
3. Please note that team assignments may change. This is a DRAFT run order.
4. Everyone needs to complete a waiver. Please get this done if you haven’t done it already.  COMPLETE THE AFTON/VAIL WAIVER HERE. Afton has a roster of our athletes and will be checking to see that everyone has a signed waiver on file. Parents need to sign the waiver. If you completed the waiver for the Jan 5th race at Afton, you do not need to complete it a second time.
   
5. If you are NOT riding the bus, either TO Afton or FROM Afton after the race, please send me an email: [email protected].  
   
6. If you have an EPIC pass that you can use to secure a lift ticket, please let me know this as well. I have already tracked those who have told me they have access to an Epic Pass.
   
7. We need chairs... parents, please throw a couple of chairs in your cars so the athletes can sit if they want to do so during lunch.
8. Finally, we have a volunteer sign up for the Afton Race. We do not need to supply race workers, but there are a lot of roles to fill to support our athletes and coaches on Friday. Parents: Please help if you can: Afton Invite Support Sign UP

Supplemental Training Sign UP
Sign up is now open for the supplemental training scheduled for Saturday, January 29th and Saturday, February 5th at Wild Mt.
