Tuesday, August 29, 2023 Hello MAST Athletes, Parents, Friends, and Coaches: As August comes to a close, we have a number of SIGN UP NOW and SAVE THE DATE ANNOUNCEMENTS for you. SIGN UP NOW! MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH, 5:30PM-9PM State Fair Goat and Poultry Barn Clean Out Fundraiser. Thank You to everyone who has signed up to work our State Fair Fundraiser. We still need another 30-40 hard working bodies to make the evening go quickly. Starting tomorrow (Wednesday, August 30th), you can pick up your free State Fair Admission Tickets. MONDAY, OCTOBER 9TH MAST Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at Mr. Paul’s Supper Club We are excited to announce that Mr. Paul’s Supper Club Fundraiser for MAST is back! Set aside the evening of October 9th to enjoy the culinary delights and the festive setting of Mr. Paul’s Supper Club. Once again, our older athletes are invited to volunteer to work this event. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11TH, 3PM-9PM MAST Equipment Day at Pierce Skate and Ski Equipment You are welcome to go to Pierce any day to purchase any new equipment you need for the season, but on Wednesday, October 11th, MAST coaches will be on hand to assist the Pierce staff with matching and fitting athletes with new gear. If you need new boots, be sure to make an appointment in advance by calling Pierce Skate and Ski directly. 952-884-1990. Again, you can make an appointment on October 11th when a MAST coach will be on hand to help, or any other day of the week starting now. Boot and ski models and sizes do sell out, so if you know that you will be buying new equipment this year, I suggest making the appointment for either October 11th or earlier. F. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26TH Winter Sports Registration Opens with Minneapolis Public Schools G. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH (Alpine Ski Season Officially Opens!) Saturday, August 11, 2023 Hello MAST Athletes, Parents, Friends, and Coaches: Welcome to Alpine Season Number 24 of the Minneapolis Alpine Ski Team. I am pleased to announce that MAST has been invited to return to the State Fair once again to clean out BOTH the Goat Barn and the Poultry Barn. Not only will we be raising much needed money for our team, we will be upholding our stellar reputation as the BEST barn cleaning crew in North America. And... anyone who commits to cleaning out the barn(s) will receive a free admission ticket to the MN State Fair that day. Read our official announcement below. Hope to see you there.
