26/27 Update #4.5

MAST UPDATE #4.5

September 30, 2026

Hello MAST Athletes, Caregivers and Newcomers!

It’s finally here! It’s time to register for the 2026-2027 Minneapolis Alpine Ski Team! And that means in less than 2 months you’ll be tuning skis, packing boot bags and charging gates down Hyland Hills! We’re so excited to get you registered that we are opening registration 4 hours early! Woohoo!

IMPORTANT! TEAMSNAP UPDATE!
As most of you know, MAST uses TeamSnap for registration, team membership, scheduling, and more. Well, just as we all got comfortable with our current team management platform, luck would have it that we are moving to a new version. Sigh.

Over the summer, TeamSnap notified us that our organization would be switching to the updated and improved TeamSnapONE platform for our upcoming season. This is the newest, most concise platform from TeamSnap. Eventually, all TeamSnap users will migrate to TeamSnapONE.

What does this mean for YOU?  You will need to download the new TeamSnapONE app. Parents/guardians and athletes will both need to download the new app. The good news is you can use your original TeamSnap login credentials to create your TeamSnapONE account, and any information in your profile/account will migrate.

The registration form for MAST membership looks slightly different, but in a good way! It’s a little cleaner, less cluttered and doesn’t require you to print or upload anything! A few things to note:

1. A parent/guardian account holder must be the person who registers the athlete.

2. When entering athlete school and high school, please follow the example text under the text box. (Southwest High School, Sandford Middle School, etc).

3. If you wish to register siblings at the same time, when you reach the page titled "Registration Summary” click on “+Add another registration.”

4. Digital Waivers: please read and sign electronically. The adult completing the registration must be the adult signing the waivers.

5. Select your TeamSnap ONE experience: Sorry! We couldn’t get rid of this page. Just select the top choice, “Included with your registration.”

6. Upon registration completion, you will be directed to download the TeamSnapONE app.

IMPORTANT! ROSTERING & APP UPDATE!
When will I see my team or my athlete’s team in my TeamSnapONE app?
Within 12 hours of registration completion (likely sooner), we will roster athletes to their respective high school team:  Southwest Boys Alpine Ski, Southwest Girls Alpine Ski, Washburn Boys Alpine Ski, Washburn Girls Alpine Ski, MAST Alpine Ski (all other schools).

The team and athlete’s name within the roster will first appear in the parent/guardian’s app. The athlete’s parent/guardian will have to add the athlete as a “contact” from the parent’s app or the parent’s TeamSnap ONE account.
To do this from the app:

1. Wait until you see a team show up in your app. That means we’ve rostered your athlete.

2. Click on the team (e.g. Washburn Girls Alpine Ski).

3. In the next screen, click on ROSTER.

4. Click on the athlete’s name. (Your child)

5. Click +ADD CONTACTS

6. Add your athlete’s first name, last name, personal email.

Your athlete will now be able to see their team and their name in the roster.

And there you have it!  If you have any questions about the registration process please contact Coryn Petersen or your Core Parent. Questions directly related to the TeamSnapONE app can be directed to Coryn Petersen or Bill Bray. Thank you for your patience as we all navigate this new platform together!  Let’s go, MAST!
**A second registration date and link to register with MPS Athletic Dept will follow in a later update. Reminder that both registrations are required and both carry separate fees: MAST $300 and MPS Winter Athletics $75.
