Hello MAST Family,

What a season! From high-speed runs and long race days to the nonstop support from our amazing families, this year has been packed with memories. Even though the official race season has ended for some, the practicing, cheering, and fun are far from over. In fact, MAST Mamas - don’t forget about Mom’s Ski Night TONIGHT at Buck Hill! Make sure you READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH to catch this week’s schedule… including COSTUME PRACTICE on SATURDAY! 
Now it’s time for a short recharge before we head into Section Championships. We’re so excited to cheer on our athletes and watch all that hard work pay off on the hill!

SECTIONS PASTA FEED Pre-Sections on 2/3/26
5:00 pm - 7:30 pm- Dinner first, then meeting.

The Voyakins will be hosting a pre-Sections’ pasta feed.  Join your Sections' teammates and coaches as you carbo load, get a pep talk from coaches and support from fellow teammates.  This is for ALL sections starters, alternates and coaches.

Come and cheer on our racers - and sign up to help!!
Big races, like Sections, need a great deal of help to support our athletes.  We have spots for race volunteering (bibs, a couple of starters), food, and help with the tent.  MAST will be providing racers and coaches TACOs for lunch in the tent.

SECTION IV ALPINE SKIING CHAMPIONSHIPS - Wild Mt. -  2/4/2026 - Tentative Schedule (Subject to change by 25-30 minutes. We will notify you as soon as we know).

6:15am - Meet & load bus at Washburn
8:45 - 9:15am - Course Inspection
9:00am - Gate Judges meet @ Finish/ Course Workers meet @ Start
9:45am - First Run
12:20pm - Course Inspection
12:30pm - Gate Judges meeting
1:10pm - Second Run
4:00pm - Awards

*There will NOT be a return bus following Sections. Please plan to ride home with a parent/ caregiver or find a ride with a teammate.

MAST PARENT EVENTS! - so much fun and not to be missed!

MAST Parent Slalom - Friday, February 6, 5:30 - 8:30pm 

On Friday, February 6 from 5:30 - 8:30pm, we will hold our 2nd Annual MAST Parents Slalom at Hyland!  MAST athletes will be your coaches and course workers!

Not a skier? That’s ok! Show up and be the Super Spectator you’ve been perfecting all season. After the race, parents are invited to head to the Ski Jump Chalet for some food, beverages, and social time!

Back by popular demand! MAST MOMS SKI NIGHT! - Sunday, February 1, 6:30pm
Calling all current and alumni MAST MOMS for a Sunday night SKI & SOCIAL GATHERING! Gather your gear and join new, veteran, and alumni MAST moms for some end-of-season fun!


WHO:  All MAST MOMS, regardless of your skiing ability!

WHEN:  Sunday, February 1 - 6:30pm Ski/ 8:30pm Après.

WHERE:  Buck Hill Ski Area. Meet in the lower level of the Buck ’54 Bar & Grill. (The building on the North end of the area, not the main chalet. Parking available right outside the lower level of Buck ‘54 Bar & Grill).

WHAT ELSE:  Ski from 7pm-9pm with the Late Night Lift Ticket. Advance tickets are available for $20 each, online. Tickets are redeemable beginning at 6:45pm in the ticket office. Moms - online ticket purchases will save you time and money! On-site ticket prices are slightly higher, and there’s those annoying time-consuming waivers. WHAT IF:  You don’t want to ski? Join us Après Ski! We’ll have drinks at the Buck ’54 Bar & Grill around 9pm. Or, feel free to get the Après started before the Après! Buck ‘54 is open until 10pm, so it won’t be a late Sunday night. Just enough time to get some turns in with some friendly MAST Mom faces and toast to a fantastically fun season and wonderful MAST community.

Have you seen Janna’s photos on the MAST website?? Wow. Janna stands on that hill with frozen hands to capture our kids in action - and man, she has taken some incredible photos of our athletes! Even the teenagers approve of these pics (and we all know that’s no easy task). She has updated the MAST 2025-2026 Photo Gallery and you should really check it out! Janna, thank you!  We are so fortunate to benefit from your talent.



AWAY RACE LIFT TICKET INVOICES
We have been invoicing for Away race lift tickets via TeamSnap. We are doing our best to get the invoices out as close to a race as possible. Please take care of these at your earliest convenience. If you find you have been invoiced for a race in which you / your athlete did not race, please notify your Core Parent.



MAST END OF YEAR BANQUET
Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 22nd, 2026 5 pm. Details will be coming soon!
