MAST UPDATE #7
Sunday, October 19, 2025 Hello MAST Athletes, Parents, and Friends: We hope you all had a fun Fall break filled with quality time and a good balance of relaxation and excitement! Our last Update covered a ton, and we know that re-entry after a break can be a little challenging - so we’ll try to keep things clear and concise here. But please do give special attention to our important reminders and/ or reach out to your Core Members with any questions or needs. ALL 3 REGISTRATION STEPS ARE NOW OPEN. Read carefully below to ensure you’ve completed all 3 steps and are cleared to participate when the season opens. IMPORTANT REMINDERS! Additional information can be found in Update #6
MPS WINTER ATHLETICS REGISTRATION Registration for MPS Winter Sports is open! This is an online registration. You will need to complete all the forms and pay the $75 MPS Athletics Activity Fee before your high school athletic director will clear you to participate. WE ASK ALL ATHLETES TO REGISTER FOR ALPINE SKIING BEFORE NOVEMBER 1ST SO YOUR ATHLETIC DIRECTOR HAS AMPLE TIME TO CLEAR YOU TO PARTICIPATE BY THE OPENING DAY OF THE SEASON. IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE SKIING THIS YEAR, PLEASE DO IT NOW SO YOU DON’T FORGET. MPS is now using ARBITER for Athletic Registration. This is A NEW PLATFORM FOR 2025-2026. If you/your athlete did not play a fall sport this year, you will need to create a NEW ACCOUNT with the new platform. Each high school will have their own link, found on the respective high schools’ websites, or MSP Winter Athletics Registration! Camden High School Registration Edison High School Registration North High School Registration Roosevelt High School Registration South High School Registration Southwest High School Registration Washburn High School Registration **You will need your proof of a qualifying sports physical to upload to the new MPS registration platform even if you have submitted one in the past 3 years. If you took a photo of this and uploaded it from your computer in past seasons, you may have success searching “qualifying physical” in your computer’s search bar. This worked for our Registration Lead. Quick Tips: When registering with ARBITER for MPS athletics, you will be required to create a new account unless you/your athlete played a 2025 fall sport. Once you’ve created your account, you will find your high school or follow the link above. You will scroll down to where you check the box for Alpine Skiing. From there you will continue to scroll down and complete the forms. Once you get to the CONTINUE button you will be directed to a confirmation page. YOU MUST HIT SUBMIT on the right hand side of your screen. You will be directed to a “quickpay” page for MPS. Once there, you will log in or create an account (if you are new to MPS sports), select your athlete, scroll down, select Alpine “girls” / “boys” from the Winter Sports dropdown menu, add to cart, and pay the $75 MPS fee. If you are a middle schooler, you need to drop the $75 payment with the Athletic Director at your high school. Please make checks payable to “(name of high school) Athletics”, e.g. Southwest Athletics, Washburn Athletics, etc. If you’ve already registered through ARBITER for MPS and did not pay the $75 fee (as it was not open at the time), please follow the link to complete payment. MPS Quickpay Fee $75. This is required in order to be cleared by your AD to participate in your winter sport. **Reminder that both MAST and MPS registrations are required and both carry separate fees: MAST $300 and MPS Winter Athletics $75. See the respective registration sites/instructions for scholarship requests. More detailed info regarding registration and fees. Questions regarding Registration with MAST or MPS, please contact your Core Parent or our Registration and TeamSnap Lead, Coryn Petersen [email protected] or 612.910.2560. Coryn is available to walk you through any portion of the registration process or installing/utilizing the TeamSnap App. FORMS MAST requires a guardian signature on the Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability form. This form has to be printed, signed and uploaded into the TeamSnap registration. It is included in the registration form, but we’ve attached it below as well so you can have it ready to upload into registration. This form is required to register with MAST. MPS Transportation Waiver. Here is the MPS Transportation Waiver which we will collect at 11/10 Hyland Pass pickup night. MPS requires all athletes to have a Sports Qualifying Physical Examination Form on record. This is required for participation. Please see more about sport’s physicals in the link to Fees and Registration. MPS registration will also require the MPS Emergency Contact & Eligibility Form. This will be collected at pass pickup night. TEAM SNAP When you registered with MAST, you went through a platform called TeamSnap. We also use the TeamSnap App to process payments for supplemental training, away race lift tickets and our seasonal buff sales. TeamSnap is our primary source of daily communication. It contains our practice/race calendar, real-time updates (schedule changes), as well as message boards. Be sure to download Team Snap to your phone where you can view the schedule, see and communicate with others on your team and get real time updates. Please reach out to your Core Parent or Coryn Petersen, our TeamSnap Lead, with any questions. Once registered with MAST in TeamSnap, each athlete is rostered to their High School team. Athletes and parents should have the respective team populate on the TeamSnap App. TROUBLESHOOTING TS: If you are a parent seeing the team on the app but your athlete is not seeing the team on their mobile device (or vice versa), you can invite them by: 1) Go to the Team home screen on the app. 2) Click the plus sign at the top of the screen. 3) Click +invite. 4) Input your athlete’s name (or parent’s name) and NON-MPS EMAIL and hit save. 5) Your athlete (or parent) needs to accept the invitation from their email inbox.
