A HUGE thank you to our sponsors!
Due to limitations on training space and funding, we are unable to accept additional athletes this season. We have the largest high school alpine program in the state at 106 skiers. Unfortunately, this is our limit. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list or have questions, please send an email or call Head Coach Mark Conway. Email: email@example.com. Phone: 612-275-8392.

PHYSICAL CONDITIONING --EARLY FALL RECOMMENDATIONS
Ski racing places a lot of physical demands on your body. If you want to maximize your performance in season, you need to do the work off season to strengthen your muscle groups, increase your agility, improve your cardiovascular fitness, and build your speed. The MAST coaches encourage everyone to take time each day to exercise. Bike, run, in-line skate. Look up exercises and workouts that you can do on your own. Educate and motivate yourself about how to improve your strength and conditioning levels. Here is one good source for ski related off season workouts: https://www.youtube.com/user/ussasec/playlists?sort=dd&view=50&shelf_id=4
Early Season Goals:

2. Understand and execute the technical skills that constitute each block of the pyramid--you are learning these in practice.
3. Know and utilize two to three free skiing drills that develop the fundamental skills of the pyramid--you are performing these in practice.
