The Minneapolis Alpine Ski Team works hard to make ski racing affordable for anyone who wishes to ski race for his or her high school. Unfortunately, the costs associated with ski racing are high. To reduce the financial barriers to participation, MAST organizes two types of fundraisers during the year: TEAM Fundraising Events and INDIVIDUAL Fundraising Events. Team Fundraisers generate money that supplements our operating budget to cover such expenses as race entry fees and lift tickets, training gates, wireless timing, two-way radios and additional coaching. The first Team Fundraiser of the season will take place on Monday, September 4, 2017. This is our annual State Fair Goat Barn Cleaning Fundraiser. Other TEAM Fundraisers are the Pierce Skate and Ski Oktoberfest, Chipotle Night Out, Galactic Pizza Night Out. Individual Fundraising Events offer team members the opportunity to raise money that can be used to pay for the Hyland Season Pass, Giants Ridge Camp or Supplemental Training Sessions. More information about Individual Fundraising Events will be available in early September.
